Correlation Between Kinesiophobia and Functional Capacity In Phase II Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Patients

Background: Coronary Artery Bypass Graft surgery (CABG) remains the most performed cardiac worldwide. Fear of movement (Kinesiophobia) after is associated with physical activity and non-adherence to rehabilitation. It observed that functional capacity significantly reduced surgery. Long term Kinesiophobia leads avoidance behaviours hampers levels deconditioning. The aim study was find out Correlation between Functional Capacity in Phase II patients. Subjects Methods: 50 CABG patients were included study. Tampa Scale Kinesiophobia- Short Version Heart (TSK-SV Heart) Six Minute Walk Test done CVTS-OPD. Spearman rho correlation a Capacity. Results Observations: there no TSK-SV score percent predicted value 6MWT (Functional Capacity) r = 0.099 p value= 0.494. However, mean total 41.1 ± 4.743 which high 88% population reported (score> 37). Conclusion: results showed but did report thus it should not be underestimated during possible reasons for could lack awareness about safety level activity, over-protective care givers, attendance rehabilitation post discharge, anxiety, depression.
